Tausha Pearson
Executive Director

Meet our Executive Director, Tausha Pearson

As a Social Worker, Tausha has worked in human services since 2006. In 2014 she founded Haiti Mama, Inc. - a nonprofit that provides family reunification and poverty rehabilitation services in Haiti - and served as its director until coming to Welcome House in December 2021.

Tausha writes: “In so many ways this is a full circle moment for me. At one time I was a single mom in Fergus Falls, transitioning out of an abusive marriage. The love and service of my family and church empowered me to finish my degree in Social Work and move into a successful career. The reality is not all mamas have a support system like mine and that’s why social services, like transitional housing, are so important.

Executive Director, Tausha, loves working in the Thrift Store.

I’m blessed and excited to accept this position at Welcome House because it marries my strengths in leadership and sales with my lifelong passion to empower women through transitional services, community development and employment.

Last but not least, thrift stores are my happy place so, as Executive Director, this is my dream fundraising plan. I look forward to seeing you at Welcome House Thrift Store!
